I would definitely recommend Loxwood medical practice to others. I have found the reception staff to be very kind & helpful & the nurses are really lovely too. The e-consult process definitely helps to direct your issue to the right person & the response has always been very quick.

The pharmacy is the only thing I have had a small issue with as they had me down to collect my prescriptions from Billingshurst when I had collected a prescription just a couple of week’s previously from Loxwood dispensary. I was sat waiting for about 40 mins until this was realised.

Contacted reception when I went into get my repeat prescriptions.Just as I got home was informed the doctor would see me in 50 minutes. Dr Piper listened to what was the problem,examined me and then explained what he thought the problem was and the course of treatment. After the consultation sat in the reception area before picking up my prescription from Dr Piper.

The e-consult system is surprisingly very efficient. I actually prefer it to the old system. You can take time to set out your issue , previous events and treatments. If you now go to the surgery you are not surrounded by ill people.

All very good and the new prescription collection system is so much more efficient than how it used to be run.

I only put good & not very good , because my husband needed his 3 monthly injection, & although I can manage to get him in & out of the car he is 86 & I am 81 sometimes it can be a struggle. I enquired if there might be a member of staff available to give me some assistance if I needed it but was told that no staff are trained for this role. This means that in future I will have to have a nurse visit to administer the injection, when all I really require is someone to steady my husband if necessary. Something like this I feel needs discussion within the practise.

Yes have a member of staff trained to assist patients with mobility problems.
